Important Life Lessons Bollywood Movie "Dil Dhadakne Do" Taught Us

We often have much to say to the people we love, but sometimes, we don't because we might come to think of it as irrelevant,  or maybe unimportant. but those things pile up, and become ghosts; and end up haunting our lives, and drive us away from our loved ones. So far, that it seems entirely impossible to fix things. Dil Dhadakne Do is one such movie, that says the most difficult of things in the most understandable ways. looking at the big picture from afar, and you'll feel like a fool for not fixing things sooner. we're all fighting our own battles here, and this picture simply shows that we don't have to do it alone. so here are a few things I believe this movie teaches us:

1. Being a girl in the Indian society isn't always the best thing:

Remember how Kabir did nothing for the anniversary cruise planning and still got all the credit because Kamal Mehera was worried everybody will think his daughter's husband paid?

2. Moms are absolute angels even when sometimes, you're not the best kid!

Let's face it, Kabir was kind of a sucky kid

3. Dancing like a total idiot might actually get you a girl!

Don't get me wrong, all I mean is being yourself helps boys! That's what we find the most attractive in men.

4. Your parents will try to do what they think is best for you. And they will bribe you.

Even if it's behind your back, and even if sometimes, it screws you up.

5. Helping friends can sometimes get you in deep shit.

Or in the ocean. Just saying.

6. Sarcasm might just get you beaten up if used correctly.

This one needs no explaining mate, you just know what I'm saying.

7. Your daddy will  always be your hero.

Even if he's angry at you, he'll still be there for you.

8. Your brother/ sister will always be your best friend.

Because you have all these awkward funny inside family jokes you cant laugh at with others!

9. It's never too late. There's always hope.

It is never too late to fix things. you just have to make an effort.

10. Your parents love each other, and you, no matter what.

And with all said and done, there'll be just one more thing to say
